| :I know the SS coilover is a brand new product but how much testing was done on this item? And is there a warranty?
The SS coilovers have been on the market since 2004. We are using all the same components as our previous version with the addition of the new 2009 upgrades: the top mounting hardware and helper spring.
As for testing, we acquired our first prototype set in early 2003 and put over a year of street testing and one season of autocrossing on our shop car before they were actually for sale in 2004. Those same coilovers are currently still installed and in daily use for the past 5-6 years with out any issues and the only difference is that we are using the stock upper mounts instead of the new 2009 upgrades. In that time frame, we have not had any warrenty or defect issues. As for warrenty, we offer a one year from purchase component replacement warrenty on defects on all of our coilovers.
